“Let’s Go Girls!”

·

Did you know that 80% of women wear the WRONG bra size?!?  About 70% wear a bra that is too small and around 10% wear one that is too big.

Why is this a common problem amongst women?  Well, according to Google:

  • No Industry Standard: Bra sizes aren’t standardized, so a 34C can vary greatly between brands.
  • Lack of Education: Many women aren’t taught how to properly measure or fit themselves.
  • Breast Changes: Weight fluctuations, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, and aging change breast size, requiring re-fitting.

This can lead to undesirable consequences, which according to Google again are: Shoulder, neck, and back pain.  Skin irritation and scarring, poor posture, and chronic discomfort.   On a budget?  Get fitted for free, then surf the Internet for a deal!  WHERE can you get fitted?  Well, there are a few stores known for free fittings:

  • Victoria’s Secret & PINK: Offers free, no-appointment-needed fittings with associates trained to measure band and cup sizes.
  • Dillard’s:  free fittings
  • JCPenney: Provides in-store bra fitting services with fit specialists to help with sizing and style selection, plus they host bra fit events.
  • Kohl’s: Offers in-store fittings and an online bra size calculator, helping you find the right fit for comfort and support.
  • Lane Bryant: Offers free personal styling appointments, which include bra fittings, to help you find the best fit, especially for plus sizes.

So, if you are still looking for a New Year’s resolution, this is a good one!  Look out for yourself and your girls.  Your back will thank you for it!
