Whew! This heat, ya’ll! Not only is it a billion degrees outside, it’s about 100 million degrees in my body…my “bawdy,” as John Mayer would say. (Thanks, menopause!)
The AC is broken at my office (it’s being worked on,) but gosh, it’s rough. Add to that running endless “before school starts” errands, along with cleaning out my car this afternoon. I definitely overdid it today. Now I’m sitting here watching the 5:00 news gulping down a frozen cherry ICEE I got for a dollar from the grocery store.
I have no idea how my grandparents and great grands stood this. NO.IDEA.
