The School Supplies are out!

Not gonna lie, I get super excited about the new school supplies being put out at Wal-mart, Target, and Dollar25 Tree. While it is a MAJOR temptation to start buying for my kid, I hold off until I get her teacher assignment and find out what the teacher wants her to have. Teachers can be very specific about what they want (ex: all red folders,) so it is best to wait a little while. With the exception of cheap crayons, most school supplies will stay about the same price throughout the school year. So, yes, if you see the new scented Paper Mate pens in Sunday Brunch colors, go for it. Get them. BUT, if you are looking for major deals for your child’s BTS supplies, it’s best to wait and see what they REALLY need instead of buying a bunch of “good deals” that end up shoved in the back of their closet.

Go to https://www.target.com/l/target-circle-teacher-appreciation/-/N-2dktv From Google: Target offers a 20% discount to verified teachers, staff, and faculty employed by K-12 schools and colleges/universities in the United States, as well as daycare and early childhood learning center teachers and homeschool teachers. This discount is part of the Target Circle program and is typically offered during the Teacher Prep Event, which happens in mid-July. To get the discount, teachers need to verify their status through the Target Circle app or website.
